Terms and Conditions for Vacation Rental Services – Egypt
These Terms and Conditions govern the vacation rental services provided by our company in Egypt. By booking a property through our service, you agree to abide by these terms. Please read them carefully before finalizing your reservation.
1. General Provisions
1.1. These Terms and Conditions apply to all vacation rental services offered by our company in Egypt, including booking, payment, and use of rental properties.
1.2. By confirming your reservation, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.
1.3. Our company reserves the right to modify or update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Clients will be notified of any material changes prior to their stay.
1.4. All rental properties are located in Egypt and are subject to local laws and regulations.
2. Reservation and Booking
2.1. Bookings can be made online through our website or by contacting our customer service team.
2.2. Upon booking, you must provide valid identification, including a passport or ID card, and the full names of all individuals staying at the property.
2.3. The booking will be confirmed once payment has been received and processed. An email confirmation will be sent to the client with details of the reservation.
2.4. Clients must be at least 18 years old to make a reservation.
2.5. For extended stays (longer than 30 days), special terms may apply, and additional documentation may be required.
3. Payment Terms
3.1. A deposit of 30% of the total booking cost is required at the time of booking.
3.2. The remaining balance is due 7 days before the check-in date. If the payment is not received by this time, the reservation may be canceled.
3.3. Payments can be made through bank transfers, credit/debit cards, or other secure payment methods provided on our platform.
3.4. Currency exchange rates may apply if payment is made in a currency other than Egyptian Pounds (EGP).
3.5. The booking fee is non-refundable in case of cancellation after the reservation has been confirmed, except under specific circumstances outlined below.
4. Check-In and Check-Out
4.1. Check-in time begins at 2:00 PM local time. Check-out time is by 12:00 PM local time.
4.2. Early check-in and late check-out may be requested but are subject to availability and may incur additional charges.
4.3. Upon arrival, guests will be required to present identification and a credit card for security purposes.
4.4. The rental property must be vacated by the designated check-out time. If the guest fails to check out on time, an additional fee will be charged for each additional hour.
5. Use of Property
5.1. The rental property is for residential use only. It cannot be used for commercial purposes, events, or any unlawful activities.
5.2. The number of guests allowed in the property must not exceed the number agreed upon during the booking process.
5.3. Guests are expected to treat the property with care and respect. Damages caused by guests will be charged to the client's credit card or security deposit.
5.4. Pets are not allowed unless explicitly stated in the property listing. In the case of non-disclosure, the company reserves the right to request guests to leave without refund.
5.5. Smoking is not permitted inside any of the properties. Smoking in prohibited areas may result in fines.
6. Cancellations and Modifications
6.1. Cancellation requests must be made in writing and received at least 14 days before the check-in date to receive a partial refund. The 30% booking deposit is non-refundable in all cases.
6.2. If a cancellation request is made less than 14 days before check-in, no refund will be issued.
6.3. Changes to the booking, including alterations to the dates of stay or guest numbers, are subject to availability and may incur an additional charge.
6.4. In case of a cancellation or modification by the company due to unforeseen circumstances, the client will be offered a full refund or the opportunity to reschedule the stay.
7. Security Deposit
7.1. A refundable security deposit is required at the time of check-in. This deposit will cover any potential damages to the property or items within the property.
7.2. The security deposit will be refunded in full within 7 business days after check-out, provided no damages or missing items are reported.
7.3. If any damage is found, the company reserves the right to deduct the cost of repairs or replacement from the deposit. If the damage exceeds the deposit amount, the guest will be liable for the difference.
8. House Rules
8.1. Quiet hours are from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM. Guests must ensure that noise levels are kept to a minimum during these hours to avoid disturbing neighbors.
8.2. All garbage must be disposed of in designated bins provided in the property.
8.3. Guests should not bring any illegal substances onto the property. Failure to comply will result in immediate eviction without refund.
8.4. The company is not responsible for any lost or stolen personal belongings. Guests are advised to use the provided safes for valuables.
8.5. If guests break any house rules or disturb neighbors, the company reserves the right to terminate the rental agreement immediately, and no refund will be provided.
9. Liability and Insurance
9.1. Our company is not liable for any accidents, injuries, or damages that occur during the rental period.
9.2. It is the responsibility of the guest to ensure that they have personal travel insurance to cover such incidents.
9.3. The company will not be responsible for any loss of personal property or valuables during the stay.
10. Dispute Resolution
10.1. In the event of a dispute, guests should contact the company directly to seek resolution.
10.2. If the dispute cannot be resolved through direct communication, it will be subject to the jurisdiction of the Egyptian courts.
11. Privacy and Confidentiality
11.1. All personal information provided during the booking process will be kept confidential and used solely for the purpose of the booking and service provision.
11.2. Guests have the right to access and update their personal information at any time.
11.3. The company will not share personal data with third parties unless required by law or with the express consent of the guest.
